Meet Lexie! She time traveled from the ancient world and landed in Storyworks. Lexie loves words—especially ones with Greek and Latin roots. Today, she’s using words with the Greek root therm. That means heat or warm. Can you figure out the meaning of the bold words below?

Lexie: This cabin is freezing! I feel like I’m getting hypothermia.
Mouse: Hypo is a Greek prefix that means less than normal.
Lexie: Ugh, the thermostat is broken. I can’t turn it up to warm the cabin.
